The fee for the initial consultation, is payable at the end of the consultation, by cash or cheque. Fees for weekly consultations are usually invoiced at the last session of each month.

Weekly sessions are limited to 50 minutes each, and typically take place once a week at the same time in the same place.

The initial consultation

The initial consultation usually lasts 1 hour, during which we can explore your reason for seeking counselling, the nature of your difficulties and the type of help that might be useful for you. You will also have the chance to ask any questions and discuss any concerns you might have. It is an opportunity for us to both to consider if we feel comfortable working together and a chance for me to see whether I am able to help you. If I should feel unable to offer you the help you need, then we can discuss the best way forward for you. If we decide to continue, then we will agree together on the terms of how the therapy will proceed.
